呼吸 Mouth in. Nose out

食煙，不少人愛說成「呼吸」。
後巷是「呼吸」的例位，是街道之間的隙縫，亦是曖昧的「共享空間」。
不論是放煙break的上班人士，還是不想張揚地食煙的人，大家為著同一目的聚集於後巷。煙民時常都會邊「呼吸」邊吹水，總覺得在後巷的「呼吸」是帶聲音的。
Some refer to smoking as ‘breathing’, and the back alley is the usual place to light the cigarette. Back alleys are the gaps between streets and they are the ambiguous common space. People gather at the back alleys for the same reason. Some need a break from work, others want a quiet cigarette time. They sometimes chit chat while smoking, making the ‘breath’ a communicative activity.
